Tonight we had our commissioning service at church. We thank all of you who came and prayed over us. Crazy that we're leaving THIS Friday! God has overwhelmed us with blessing and provision for this trip.
Our plan is to meet to leave from church at 7 Friday night and then stay overnight in Chicago, before our flight leaves at 7:00 in the morning. We will also have a little send off before we leave on Friday.
Continue to pray for the people we meet there, and the relationships that will be formed, both with those in Haiti and those among the team. Also pray as we continue to prepare to leave that we get everything done that needs to be done. Pray that God prepares our hearts for the many things He will be teaching us on our journey. Praise God for his glorious grace and power!
